1. Work at hostels: handle reception, clean the space, or conduct photography workshops or guided tours. You'll find this more outside cities near tourist places.

2. Become an event host: use your speaking skills and become an event host at weddings or clubs. You'll probably find this more in cities.

For hotels try couchsurfing and for food try to locate gurudwara or any bhandara near by best food and do sewa and serve their in return more than food it makes you happy and give a good kind of feeling try it and you will know .

Suggestion:
For food, you can try asking for leftovers at small restaurants or dhabas — many places are happy to help if you explain your journey.
For money, you might consider pitching your idea of traveling without money to locals in the state you're visiting. Sharing a small token or a famous local snack as a gesture might encourage them to support you with whatever they feel like contributing.
For travel, sometimes bus conductors are kind enough to let you ride for free if you explain your purpose.

Alternative Idea -> Instead of earning the money back you could multiplay the money you spent by 10 and add it to the donation pool.

New suggestion:- when you're traveling through that state or city/village join the local festival means jis jagha pe ho us jagha koi local festival hora hai to usse join karo aur hume bhi dikhao because I live in a village in Maharashtra and we have very unique festivals which I don't see anywhere else hope you understand what I meant to say 😊❤
