As a former New Jerseyan, I can tell you how many people hate Sweeney. My cousin was at a health choice protest that had hundreds of people, and she heard Sweeney say to the other senators on their way in to vote “Don’t worry about these people, we have the companies on our side.” If this anecdote doesn’t perfectly capture the state of politics in this country, I don’t know what does. And guess what, he’s now out of a job. Power to the people!

My dad accomplished this by walking through every town he could when he wasn’t working, going door to door introducing himself. He went old school for his campaign bc he wanted to show ppl he actually cared n it wasn’t just lip service.
