The Traitors Season 3 Episode 1 - Recap

In the highly anticipated premiere of The Traitors Season 3, host Alan Cumming welcomes 21 celebrity contestants to a Scottish Highlands castle, setting the stage for a game of deception and strategy. 

The episode begins with a dramatic twist: the opportunity for Boston Rob Mariano to join the game if a contestant is willing to exile another player. However, no one accepts the offer, and Rob exits—for now. 

As the game unfolds, Cumming selects three Traitors: Danielle Reyes, Carolyn Wiger, and Bob the Drag Queen. The contestants then face their first mission, rowing a Viking longboat across a loch to collect fuel and money. At each pontoon, two players must stay behind, putting themselves at risk. The mission raises $20,000 for the prize pot, but tensions rise when some feel others aren’t pulling their weight. 

The episode concludes with a cliffhanger: Boston Rob is revealed to be joining the game as a secret Traitor, hinting at more surprises to come.
