The real issue with what Erica Mena said is why would that be her response in an argument in the first place. It’s obviously rooted in racism & colorism because if it wasn’t she wouldn’t have thought about that as a comeback or as something negative to say about Spice. This has nothing to do with there being “rules to arguing”.

And Lyrica choosing to defend Erica on this only speaks to her character. Cause if she sees nothing wrong with a Spanish woman calling a black woman a monkey, she too is a colorist.
