Onboard with Steve Røkland and co-driver Kim Hjalmarsen in a Ford Fiesta R2 on SS7 in Rally Elverum in the Norwegian championship 29/1-12, went off the road....

because too many cars passed and changed the road. so when you driving exact driving line you are not going on the snow. you are going on the ice. so the car is slipping to much. but if you get out from the exact driving line just a little bit, the car grips suddenly and there is nothing you can do!!

driving on snow is very hard! the cars before you run the stage can change the road conditions easily because the snow is very soft. the road conditions could be ok when you get in the stage to take road notes. but when you get in to stage to race the road is bumpy and the snow on the driving line becomes ice
