Fun fact: When Chrutchlow was in WorldSSP in 2009 he actually wanted to go to Moto2 with Gresini for 2010, he went to Gresini’s house and signed the contract etc but it turned out that in his contract with Yamaha they said he would HAVE to go into WorldSBK would he win the SSP title, so Cal was forced to move into WorldSBK for 2010, but luckily he found a MotoGP deal 1 year later haha
