In 325 AD, the Council of Nicaea paved the way for the rejection of the literal Sonship of Christ and the belief in a three-in-one consubstantial god. In the Council of Laodicea in 364 AD, the church officially transferred the solemnity of Sabbath to Sunday. The Athanasian Creed which Pr Hatton loves so much was written some time between 400-500 AD. At that point, the church was certainly the apostate Catholic Church we know today!

Will history be repeated? Today, the SDA church has accepted the trinity doctrine. And when the time of trouble draws near, their acceptance of the trinity will also lead them to deny the Sabbath of the fourth commandment.

Don't forget Sister White's warning about the "new organisation”, in which "the fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error". The quote goes on to say that "the Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded [by this new organisation] as also the God who created it." {ISM 204}

Accepting the trinity doctrine, in a conscious rejection of the light available, will lead you to receive the mark of the beast. The question for the end times and the question for today is the same.

Which God will you worship?

I am officially an Arian Catholic.
I'm born and raised catholic and I've always questioned why we worship and pray to a son of god instead of God himself.
I am so happy to hear that there are others like me.

For by Christ all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities and powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things consist (Colossians 1:16-17).

Constantine was baptized late in life before he died. When he was baptized he was baptized by a pro-Arius Christian, Eusebius of Nicomedia, who was also a student of Lucian of Antioch... like Arius.

Arius who was a priest was against the deification of Jesus, but not only him, Eusebius of Caesarea and Lucian the Martyr, they were the majority to reject the deification of Jesus, but in view of the intentions of Constantine to impose his sight which was the one the bishops of Alexandria and Constantinople, the majority of bishops signed the Nicene declaration because they knew that if they did not sign, they would be imprisoned or exiled, they preferred to sign and return to their respective territories advocate the true message of Jesus, namely the absolute unicity of God, but fortunately the mother of Constantine Helena (promoted to St. Helena later) who was monotheist put all his influence to bring Constantine back to the real time and Arius was invited to join the court of Constantinople in 335 and today many specialists have proved with proof that the current of Arius (and Eusebius of Caesarea and Lucian the Martyr and many other bishops and priests) ended up convincing Constantine to return to the true faith, moreover he promulgated a decree that ordered this reform. It is important to prove that between 325 and 381 (Council of Constantinople), which imposed the deification of the Holy Spirit, there were about five councils (or conferences) which are not mentioned in the ecclesiastical documents, why? because these 5 councils restored Christianity in its true dimension in accordance with the message of Jesus, namely the worship dedicated to God alone and that Jesus was of human nature came on earth to preach the word of God, these documents were simply burned .

I looked at two writings emanating from Muhammad that struck me, in his time, that is to say in the 7th century, he sends a letter to Heraclius, emperor of Byzantium inviting him to embrace Islam, it was a sober letter, in the end and this is the important thing he said to him: "if you refuse, then you will bear the sins of the Arians", yet at that time, only the great figures of the church knew these truths especially the ideological conflict over the divinity of Jesus, a conflict that had already begun since the 2nd century and lasted until that time.

The 2nd written is a hadith certified by the Muslim specialists of the Hadith as being authentic and in which Muhammad says "Before God sent me, he observed men, Arabs and non-Arabs, he despised them, EXCEPT CERTAIN COMMUNITIES THE PEOPLE OF THE BOOK "and knowing the message of Muhammad who pronounces pure and absolute monotheism, the latter regarded these communities of Christians as true believers, and he proclaimed very clearly that these Christians were on the right path. So tell me who is right and who is wrong. That is why I say without a shadow of a doubt that all the Christian dogma established after the alliance sealed between the Trinitarian bishops and the imperial power in 325 is doubtful and does not reflect in any way the message of Christ.

Dear ‘A brother in Christ’, sadly we couldn’t find much either, the ‘mother church’ did a good job to try to obliterate anything surrounding Arius. I truly wish I could help you more.
May God bless your search.

This is an interesting video that explains exactly why christians saw Arius as a threat to Christianity. His belief just negates the divinity of Christ. If he has a beginning he is not God. If he doesn't share the essence of God the father, well he is not God. Making its sacrifice meaningless. Not only that but Arius's idea just makes Christ a lesser god, that's just politeism.
Its shocking to see that the same arrogance we see in protestants also ocurred in such ancient times. But it makes me hopeful that the Christian Church will ultimately prevail against heresy.

It’s this last phrase ("only begotten" used in the KJV, NASB and the NKJV) that causes problems. False teachers have latched onto this phrase to try to prove their false teaching that Jesus Christ isn’t God; i.e., that Jesus isn’t equal in essence to God as the Second Person of the Trinity. They see the word "begotten" and say that Jesus is a created being because only someone who had a beginning in time can be "begotten." What this fails to note is that "begotten" is an English translation of a Greek word. As such, we have to look at the original meaning of the Greek word, not transfer English meanings into the text.

So what does monogenes mean? According to the Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature (BAGD, 3rd Edition), monogenes has two primary definitions. The first definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind within a specific relationship." This is its meaning in Hebrews 11:17 when the writer refers to Isaac as Abraham’s "only begotten son" (KJV). Abraham had more than one son, but Isaac was the only son he had by Sarah and the only son of the covenant. Therefore, it is the uniqueness of Isaac among the other sons that allows for the use of monogenes in that context.

The second definition is "pertaining to being the only one of its kind or class, unique in kind." This is the meaning that is implied in John 3:16 (see also John 1:14, 18; 3:18; 1 John 4:9). John was primarily concerned with demonstrating that Jesus is the Son of God (John 20:31), and he uses monogenes to highlight Jesus as uniquely God’s Son—sharing the same divine nature as God—as opposed to believers who are God’s sons and daughters by adoption (Ephesians 1:5). Jesus is God’s “one and only” Son.

The bottom line is that terms such as "Father" and "Son, " descriptive of God and Jesus, are human terms that help us understand the relationship between the different Persons of the Trinity. If you can understand the relationship between a human father and a human son, then you can understand, in part, the relationship between the First and Second Persons of the Trinity. The analogy breaks down if you try to take it too far and teach, as some pseudo-Christian cults (such as the Jehovah’s Witnesses), that Jesus was literally "begotten" as in “produced” or “created” by God the Father.

The spirit of truth that dwell in arius, are also (in many if not all) in the believers today that rejects the doctrine of false teacher athanasius.

There are three that bear record in heaven, THE FATHER, The Word, and The Holy Ghost and these three are one.
THE ONE GOD IS THE FATHER, The Word is HIS WORD and The Holy Ghost is HIS SPIRIT.

For me, THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD, THE FATHER; for whom are all things, and I in HIM, and One Lord Jesus Christ by Whom are all things, and I by Him.

This seems pretty straightforward to solve with quantum mechanics. A higher dimensional being could theoretically be born at any plot on linear time; and then later enter space time “after” being born and thus exist for the whole of it. The beginning, and the end.

I can't believe that this debate is still around. Let me point out that Jesus himself made that distinction that his father sent him. If Jesus co-existed as the same time as the father, then he would have been an adopted son. Amen.
