Republicans ‘very united’ in supporting AUKUS

The Republicans have been labelled as “very united” in supporting the AUKUS submarine deal, says US Studies Centre Foreign Policy and Defence Director Professor Peter Dean.

“In Congress, the Republicans have been very united behind AUKUS, and pushing that deal,” he told Sky News Australia.

“So yes I am confident that it would go ahead under a Trump presidency.”
