Dragon Warrior 3 on the Gameboy color was my first JRPG. I still remember how absolutely lost 8 year old me got on some parts 😅 Can't wait to replay it and experience all the nostalgia.

I got my copy of Dragon Quest 3 HD 2D Remake today, and I like it so far since I'm a long-time fan of the Dragon Quest series. Dragon Quest 1-2 will be new for me next year, but 3 was my first and favorite game on an older console that was unfinished back then... That is all, and the journey begins...

I'll be getting this one tomorrow but in the last few months I've gotten Sea of Stars, Romancing Saga 2, Visions of Mana, Sky Oceans: Wings for Hire, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Sword Art Online Last Recollection, The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails, Shin Megami Tensei V, Sand Land, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age - Definitive Edition, and Atelier Ryza 3.

So basically I won't delude myself into saying I'm not buying anymore RPGs in the near future. Lol!!

I have also been watching the Dragon quest the adventure of Dai
It's a Dragon quest anime on Netflix it's really great but it does have it sad moment though but if you haven't seen it yet give it a watch I am on episode 17 and I am really loving the story and characters

Erdrick is a title. Erdwin is his canon name as revealed by the dq11 postgame the confusing thing is serenica takes her knowledge of Eleven, the first erdrick’s story back to the past so the title originates from the future it Rubis is higher god then the yggdragon which is how the title exists before it’s own time of origin.

I've never played dragon quest and im scared to play rpgs besides mario because I think they are overwhelming. This one seems simpler and more my speed. It looks amazing, may give it a try someday.

I haven't finished watching but wow...I was whining about their not being in any monster medals like in the gbc version but I didn't know we have the monster recruiting mechanic.

I hate when 2D games get turned into 3D games so I'm glad they didn't do that here. IMO this is the first great game in the series and the second best over all (I've played the entire series other then X)

This isn't actually the earliest game in the timeline but it is the earliest game in the Erdrick trilogy. Dragon Quest XI takes place in the same timeline at some point before III.

I plan to get this eventually but I have Dragon Quest III on my Switch and phone already so its low priority.
