I just sold my Z3M roadster & replaced it with a low mileage R231 SL500 in hyacinth red with cream leather. Not the AMG SL63 admittedly. But not much less power or performance. It's more than enough. In fact I'm in awe of it.
The fact it takes an extra 200 or 300 milliseconds to reach the legal speed limit compared to the AMG is immaterial. 0 - 60 in 4.5 is fine with me.I'm loving it to bits.
I considered an SLK55. But they're almost as expensive. A great little V8 roadster, but less car for the money. SLK55 £55k new. SL500 £85k new but only £3 or £4k more second hand for the SL. And it's an almost all aluminium engineering masterpiece. When I test drove the Slk55 the engine felt special. When I drive my SL500 the whole car feels special

Rs7 is a good shout i have mine over 100k miles now, and it's still going strong.

I'd say the only cars worth owning on that list are the i8, Vantage, cayman and maybe the cont GT.

So...I owe you 2 things: an Instagram message and a road trip to Casa del JB, the Pug is ready to thrash as of last week! Owe, debatable perhaps, but I want the world to be fairly informed and it's only fair. The 981CS is still, objectively, the best car I know of, at all. The 308 GTi is...well, not. But if you're a chav who doesn't understand that <100% throttle exists, the 308 worth a crack.

Anyway, the lowest "how much is your car worth" guess until I sold the 981CS in 2023 was: £90k. I'm not saying it was cheaper than a £30k Golf 😁

Unreasonable expectations definition: I sold a 981CS, as per the car literally in this video, didn't buy a Giulia QV and with not a 30k but a 70k budget...bought a 1.6l Peugeot. For 30k, 50k, 70k, or 150k, I'd have bought (and did buy) my Pug. Why? It's not the best, it just isn't, but it's the stupidest.

The E53 though, that's my no.1 next car right now, because I want the self-driving tech. Merc QC is...well I think they sacked the department in 1994, but their tech is top notch, under dealer warranty. That's my car from this list, but my car history tells me it has to be a monster to convince me to hand the keys over...I'll message you by the end of this month to demonstrate why I'm an idiot for buying a Pug 🤣 I love it, but I wouldn't recommend it to a sober person...

Been eyeing up the 981 cayman S for a while though although some are coming below 30k they are either higher mileage from 75 to 80k or lack options. The AM vantage i came across not long ago and no im undecided. The AM will be a little more to insure and run though cant beat that V8 sound and looks
