California Fires: Tracking the winds, Palisades Fire & Eaton Fire

FOX 11 Chief Meteorologist Adam Krueger tracks the piercing winds and the impact it may have on the spread of both Palisades and Eaton fires devastating both the westside and eastside Los Angeles County neighborhoods.

California fires are wreaking havoc on Los Angeles as crews battle several massive blazes, including the Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, Hurst Fire and Woodley Fire. Areas impacted include the Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Pasadena, Sylmar and parts of Ventura County.

Fire insurance is already a big problem here, and these are many of the most expensive properties in Socal

I have a hectare in Canada and in sumer with no wind it gets really dry (quackgrass) One fire starts, then spread in four directiions faster than you can grab a blanket to throw down.

I just checked the wind in Palisades. It said 21 mph. That sounds low, for causing fires.

So we're at the start of the next winter storm that's supposed to cover the east coast in snow over the weekend and instead we get a large fire that covers more than 3, 000 acres...
I think I would have preferred snow
