But one thing people forget is that there is also the warrior side to the worthiness, particularly a willingness to kill when needed to (This is why spiderman isn’t worthy, because he typically isn’t willing to kill.)

My question is would this still count for those who kill specific people? Like Tanjiro kills demons but I see him having a hard time (morally) killing a normal person, same with Jonathan.

Edward technically worthy way before end of his story. After trying to bring back their mom they learn the truth behind equivalent exchange and only planned to use the philosopher stone to return their bodies back to normal. However once finding out philosopher stones are just harnessed souls they vehemently refuse to ever use a philosopher stone because they would never use another person’s life to atone for their own sins. Showing that they already are worthy, this worthiness just ends up being actualized once Ed discovers a way to truly atone for his sins.

Ichigo’s entire motivation is to protect. He’s not driven to get a title or be best of the best. He gets stronger to protect what he loves and cares about. There’s a whole arc showing how he can’t stand not being able to protect, and is instead the protected.

There is also a mental aspect of being able to weird the hammer as seen when Nick Fury whispered "something" into Thor's ear during Original Sin that made Thor doubt his worthiness resulting in the hammer deeming him unworthy. Because of that. I don't think Yuji would be able to intentionally pick it up because he also blames himself Sukuna's actions. Goku would probably try to break the hammer to fight the cosmic storm inside since it is sentient.

In another video someone pointed out Odin in the MCU actual tells us what he thinks is Worthy. When Odin is removing Thor's powers he states all the things that makes him unworthy:

Arrogance, stupidity, Starting a war (Needlessly endangering lives), and betraying loved ones.

So Humility, Wisdom, Prudence, and Loyalty is what makes you worthy.

Therefore the worthy ones are: Ichigo, Joseph, Thorffin, Naruto, Tanjiro, and Edward.

Ichigo is actually part Asgardian, so he can lift it. Turns out Odin is his great grandpa.
