Also be mindful of the climate you live in, where it is warm all year round… up North, fruit trees are way less common. I’ll probably have to keep mine indoors or winter them in a greenhouse

Totally agree, went to a yard sale one time the guy had three apple trees we asked if we could pick a couple, and now we go back every year.
