Now that you know how to interact with the Python interpreter and execute Python code, it is time to dig into the Basic Data Types in Python.

Data Types, are the classification or categorization of Data Items. It represents the kind of value that tells what operations can be performed, on a particular data.

Thus: Every value in Python has a Data Type. Since everything is an object in Python, Data Types are actually Classes and Variables are Instances (Object) of these classes.

Consequently, There are multiple Data Types in Python. Some of the most Basic Data Types built into Python are: Numeric, Strings, and Boolean types. Others are part of the Collections in Python: Tuples, Lists, Dictionaries and Sets.
