Best movie I've seen this year. Pedro Pascal needs to do more comedies, he is incredibly gifted.

Brilliant film, and yet another adult, non-IP film which is underperforming at the box office, guaranteeing that less of this type of film will be made in the future.

I’ve heard a few of the critics have the same view regarding the last 20 minutes or so of the movie. Here’s a thought, what if the point of the last act was to turn into an old school Nic Cage movie? Maybe, just maybe, it was a meta commentary on that stage of his career.
Or maybe I’m wrong and they lost their focus. Either way, I enjoyed the movie.

I liked it. I didn’t love it though. The movie was a step below Tropic Thunder funny. At times this film took its own story too seriously.
