AOR AR5000 500hz filter upgrade

Installing a Collins mechanical 500Hz CW filter in the AOR AR5000 Communications receiver.

Great job, but there is one question ..
These filters have three outputs. There are input and output, body..
The filter MF-2.5 should be soldered (side) as shown, or it does not matter?
Is there a difference in the installation MF-2.5 ?
