1st Look at brand New Kershaws: Malt, Hops, and Reverb!

First look video x3! Kershaw Malt, Kershaw Hops, and Kershaw Reverb are a few new releases and are all unique in their own way.

I've already got the Reverb hanging from my back pack as a nice back up. The Malt and Hops will be getting plenty of use as I test them leading up to reviews.

Reverb starts at 1:25, Hops at 5:00, Malt at 8:40.

Very interesting batch of knives JT! The Reverb is the most appealing to me i think. But for the time i 'll pass on these and wait for the Natrix and the story that comes with it.Nice vid!

I love the Kershaw Malt & Hops, I have both, but they need to get rid of the ugly, good for nothing, useless, eagle claw hook/ bottle opener that sticks out the back. I usually carry the Hops in my jeans watch pocket and the hook grab the inside every time I pull out the knife. I really don't care about the bottle opener so I decided to use the less expensive Hops and re-design it my self by using a Dremel tool, I grounded the hook of the Hops down to the same shape and size of the Kershaw Chive speed assisted tip, and voilá!..problem is solved. No more grabbing and it works perfect. I think Kershaw should re-design these two models with a small speed assisted opening like the one on the Ember and Chive because bottle openers are not a must these days.

I can flip my Reverb open with one finger easily. For a manual opener it is silky smooth. But that built in lock is terrible. I've actually considered taking a dremel and cutting the bar directly above the lock off and making it a standard frame lock

I just got the Hops in the mail today, the detent seems a little lighter than some of my kershaws but doesn't seem as light as the one you have

Interesting that the malt appears to have a scale on the show side... wonder why they did that and didn't just design a solid piece of metal.

The malt somewhat resembles the 0456 ( no competition obviously) but the basic shape and the way it looks in hand might feel. Thanks enjoy!

Is your Reverb sharp? Mine waa pretty dull and I just spent almost 2 hours workinf on sharpening it and it will not take an edge

The reverb shows a striking resemblance to the Buck Apex which I've had for awhile now. Maybe do a comparison video?
