Dharavi is a locality in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, considered to be one of Asia's largest slums. Dharavi has an area of just over 2.1 square kilometres and a population of about 1,000,000. With a population density of over 277,136/km2, Dharavi is one of the most densely populated areas in the world. In this film, we explore Dharavi’s leather industry, pot making, Idli making and had a beautiful conversation with the Pot makers, Idli makers, Rapper, Beatboxer, Gana singer and Dharavi people.

Dear Mohanraj, overall I like it a lot and it gives an interesting insight into the city and its citizens. Also, the underlying music is well-chosen, not to insistent. The sound was on some cases a bit overmodulated, but I can imagine, that it´s hard to shoot anyway!
Watching the film I wish you would rest a bit longer on the people as you did. I assume you didn't want to waste time and keep the pace of the docu. But I think you can trust your images and the personality of the local people. Often it is interesting to see someone think about a question before answering or thinking about what they just said... So to say a bit ore docu and a bit less commercial ;) Also, the rap group takes nearly half of the film, so spending more time on pottery, families, workers would even up the parts.
But as I said, overall I really like it!
