I remember getting my mother to buy me the Labour manifesto in 1997 (I was a weird 11 year old!) . The woman severing us said “at least it’s not the tories!” 😂

Labour probably need wealth taxes as the months go on & that has not been ruled out. I've lived & worked in Canada, 5 years, America 3 months, Greece, 10 years, Denmark, 6 months, Spain 1 year, France 9 months, Germany months but with English friends living there & I can tell you class in the UK is a prison compared to the Countries I've lived & worked. Anyone who does not see this is blind & deliberately blinding themselves.

Manifestos are pointless unless parties are made by law to do what they put in them. We all know at least 60% of what is in them will never see the light of day.

I was more skeptical about Starmer before the Labour Manifesto launch but was impressed with his arguments and delivery. Starmer has listened and changed, prioritising people over party unlike the Conservatives that just double down on policies that made us double up in pain or laughter. I was always going to vote against the Tories but I'll vote for Labour with more enthusiasm now.
