The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) reported a magnitude 4.3 quake in Turkey near Alanya, Antalya, only 9 minutes ago. The earthquake hit early morning on Saturday, June 11th, 2022, at 5:05 am local time at an intermediate depth of 76 km.
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.6.
Other agencies reporting the same quake include the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake at magnitude 4.6, and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) at magnitude 4.1.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Türkler, located 96 km from the epicenter, Avsallar, 97 km away, Alanya, 99 km away, Gazipasa, 100 km away, and Mahmutlar, 100 km away.
