Hello, how about if a family member and I want to use the same unique name we both created but for different business ideas? We want to trademark the name so only us two can mainly use it. We wanted to build a brand but I will like to branch out in one area and my family member with something else. I thought of a DBA but then that is mixing profits and expenses and that will be messy. I thought we could do for example Hello LLC and keep it general to then oversee Hello Rentals, Hello Boutique etc. and those be separately functioning businesses.
