That video is so touching when she sees that her baby is alive. She just can't believe it. She goes and grabs him so fast and just cuddles him. And she's standing there for a minute before she realizes he's in there with her. And you can tell she's grieving. You can tell. She just doesn't know what to do with herself if she's standing there without her baby and no one around. What a beautiful little soul.

This whole story is made up. Mahale in the Sedgewick County Zoo gave birth to Kucheza in November 2022. Kucheza was a baby chimp not a gorilla as shown in the video. Mahale and Kucheza went viral from a video showing Mahale and Kucheza being reunited after the baby had a medical emergency during Mahale’s c-section. Baby Kucheza never got electrocuted but she did die of head trauma 5 weeks after she was born. The baby chimp shocked by the fence was actually several years ago at a chimp sanctuary in South Africa.

That is not what happened. The chimp in the enclosure had a baby that wasn't doing well at birth and they had to work on it for awhile.

Why can't people just leave them alone, not become caged animal!! I feel so sorry for them, more &more people are taking them out of they're home and raising them as pets! Making them do housework, wearing clothes, and so many other things, 😢😮😢 that's how I feel. ❤❤
