Mashallah! Beautiful town. It reminded me of when I lived in the UK for a few years, when I used to drive through small towns, I enjoyed the old architecture, the cobblestone streets, occasionally there would be very old buildings, sometimes ruins of a castle, the mixture of old and new shops, and most small towns exist along a river, and the hills surrounding like the one in your video. But alas the terrible lesson we all must learn, this dunya is temporary....

I'm interested to go to banská bystrica for erasmus exchange problem, I'm an Indonesian who studies in Turkiye, will I have some problems living there as I'm a muslim and an Asian? And do the Slovaks speak English? because my experience in Turkiye told me language barriers can incite misunderstandings

This area looks very rural, it reminds me of Asturias, Northern part of Spain. I visited a friend who lives there.. there are no Muslims there at all but it's very traditional and catholic and beautiful. It hasn't been effected by all the major popular commercial brands and consumerism which just ruins nature.

Hello Jan,
I am not a muslim and because of that I have a question.
I have a feeling from your video that you are trying to recommend to your friends and muslim subscribers some restaurants that serve some good arabic food. Am I correct?
When I am on vacation and travelling around the world I am trying to eat mostly local food, some local stuff (drinks, specialities and such), something that is not common in my country and I am trying to avoid some well known places like McDonalds, pizza/pasta places (unless I am in Italy) and so.
The question is: Are muslims aware of local food anywhere in the world and are they prefering something they know or is it something they are ordered to do by Koran... or it is not a problem for any muslim to eat wherever whatever you want?
