This is not surprising at all. Vince mistreated his wrestlers constantly. He'd surely mistreat his employees too. Nothing happened in the WWE without Vince's fingerprints all over it.

I think McMahon has always been a sleazeball. I stopped watching wrestling when I was 15 years old which was 40 years ago not long after Vince bought the company from his father. Douchebag just oozes out of him.

The "other company" Vince had the dispute with and had to change the name to WWE was the World Wildlife Fund, founded in 1961. Vince sued them to try to force them to change their name, and lost big time.
