This song was actually the first one to ever make me cry the first time I listen to it. Luke’s lyrics always hits close to home for me. As someone missing almost half of their childhood memories I can relate to a lot of it. It’s an awful thing to experience, but hearing his music always gives me hope for the future. I wish I could tell him that.
