I curious as to the temperature of your HDD's. I have an old PC that I'm tinkering with and making an Unraid NAS with it. I have left the sides of the case off while I'm messing about with it. The HDD's temps seem kind of high to me. I think that it may be because the air from the cooling fan is not able to circulate around the drives; it just goes out the sides of the open case. Maybe my theory is all hot air ( No pun intended. Well, maybe a little.) But I am pretty curious about if the open case is an issue. Nice build by the way.
