Using screens dome buyers will pay for certain sizes of fines. My old buyer passed on the better prices to us prospectors. Also don't trust some jewelry shops as they try to low ball you on spot! They make an electronic device one can use to test purity, but they aren't cheap. I've a friend who is a jeweler that has access to one.

First off dont let your acids combine.
18 k acid is also a good silver indicator. An icy blue indicates silver.
