Spain looks amazing. More beautiful than Hawaii. Hawaii is just so overrated. Even the building in Spain has some very fascinating and historical significance behind it. I should have mentioned to my parents about Spain when they visited Europe. But I was very young then and my dad was into internship in U.K. I wish we went to Spain instead of going to Jersey. It would have been an awesome place to visit since my cousins was in France before my mom broke up her relationship with her cousin.

Toledo was never the capital of Spain. I don't know where and when such nonsense originated but the thing is that during de Middle Ages there where different kingdoms in Spain. Toledo was reconquered from the moors in 1085 by Castile and this kingdom did not have a capital city but a system called "itinerant court": the king settled in one of the different _reales alcázares_ (royal castles) he possessed all over the kingdom (Valladolid, Medina del Campo, Segovia, Madrid, Toledo, Sevilla...) according to the gvmt needs (and his personal taste, I guess). Then, in 1561, Felipe the 2nd thought that the imperial beaurocracy needed to be more stable and should be set in a single place so he choose Madrid as the capital. Madrid is, thus, the first Spanish capital ever.
