New Holo Taco Menchie & Zyler Duo SWATCH + Comparisons | nailsonpointbynina

Hey guys!

This week I can FINALLY show you the swatch of the beautiful new Holo Taco Menchie and Zyler polishes. As you know Cristine's aka Simplynailogical's cats are named Menchie and Zyler. A few years ago she had a collab with Starrily where she created the OG version of those polishes. However, these new ones are NO DUPES for the old ones. She just wanted to include her fur babies into her own brand. But I was still curious what they would look like next to the new Holo Taco versions.
Unfortunately I only own the OG Menchie polish, I was never able to get the Zyler one. But I did compare the old Menchie to the new Menchie. Since she has a similar shade already in her collection (Play Rosé), I wanted to show you just how different they are. And I gotta say they are super different. Play Rose has a much warmer undertone, whereas Menchie is way more pale, pink and cooler toned. Zyler however is way warmer and more burnt orange than Play Rose. I also included a comparison of Zyler and Orange Drink since those colours are actually pretty similar. However, they are a completely different finish and it just depends on your preference which finish you like best.

Now that all that is said: I AM OBSESSED.

The amount of glitter in these polishes is UNREAL. They are super vibrant (even though Menchie is pretty light, the colour is still very noticeable) and they also apply very smooth for a glitter polish. You may have to add thinner over time but honestly, that's so worth it!
