I went jogging for 10 years, 3 times a week for an hour. After listening to Dr. O'Mara, I gave up jogging and started sprinting 3 times a week for 15 mins. Now, I have more endurance and less stiffness. It shows that it's true what he says. I should add that I ride road bikes occasionally. There, the endurance shows.

Dude that last thing he said about your body being the biggest determinant of enjoying your life and facing challenges… so true! Carnivore plus workouts plus good sleep plus sprinting I feel fucking incredible Instead of horrifically depressed.

Dr. Sean’s advice is helping me. I’m 65, walk, and sprint up a hill in my neighborhood for less than a minute then walk a little more, early mornings before eating. Thank you!

Excellent
1. Bad processed foods
2 Drinking
3. Not proper Rest
4. Too much exercise
5. Evolvé to be intense physical fitness: ie high intensity work or sprinting yet now sprinting like a silly racing track. Just gain speed slowly and then sprint.
Great video 📼 thank you.

I’ve been running in place as fast as I can for 1 min
My visceral fat is at an awesome place. I have a hip issue and until that is fully resolved running in place has been very helpful. Carnivore and fermented veggies are my food choices

If you’re going to ‘sprint’ then do sprints on the rowing machine. 300-400 metres. Full gas effort, all the benefits of HIIT sprinting without the heavy impacts of running. your ankles and knees will thank you for it. plus rowing uses more of your muscles and is more full bodied than running.

HIIT got it done for me at age 63. Lost 70 lbs. No garbage foods, sugars, soy/veg oils. 8 hrs sleep. Steady state cardio is highly overrated.

Yep, sprinting makes you fit the quickest because we evolved to sprint away from danger or fight off predators or other humans. Quit jogging and start sprinting. Maximum intensity makes you fit the quickest.

10 minute pre warm up, especially stretches of the hip flexor muscles, and breathing, caused me to sprint better.

Stress, and lack of sleep my biggest problem

I can't state enough how much I detest sprinting. It is horrible to me but I'm thinking as I get a little bit smaller maybe it won't feel so punishing. I am trying to lose my last 20 pounds and I do everything except sprint. I don't like exercise at all but I understand the importance of it so I do it daily and I will continue to do it until the day I can't. I love what he says during the last 2 minutes of this video. If you care at all about your quality of life as you age, you better do everything you can right now and that's my mindset....period!

I used to bicycle 6 to 8 hours a day in the summer (no school, friends out of town, nothing on TV etc.) I lost more weight during the first 2 years of that since I had to stop and catch my breath every 5 minutes.

What about working out on a rebounder trampoline?

Sounds like the best technique I've ever heard so far. Never before have I ever heard or read about this type of exercise to specifically lose some visceral fat. I'll stretch then try it. I've seen people walk and walk every morning for years and they've never looked any slimmer. They might be healthier in the inside but no change on the outside. Everyone wants the best of both worlds.

It is important for patients to know where fat goes when it is burned. Most people think it goes to the toilet. Nope. Most of it goes to the air as CO2... just wax in a candle. Hence, aerobic exercise that causes more breathing is key. And for frequent urination, elevate lycopene, reduce oxalates, drink cranberry juice, add orange/lemon zest to food (for aromatase inhibitors), and reduce sugar. The red light in sun reduces blood sugar for some reason. If you're a CEO, get rid of the vending machines that have junk food.

Really fantastic info and message. Very well delivered by Dr O'Mara. I really liked how he delivered it very starkly and clearly. Sprints are the way forward, been hearing this from multiple sources

This was fascinating. Is there a good replacement exercise for those with a lower limb injury like a torn ACL?

Fantastic news. And it makes sense given what I've gone through over the past 4 years. Im going back to sprinting! I didn't put two and two together.

25 sprints south 100 yards. 70 strides.
25 walking 120 steps north. 1.42 total miles each way. 3000 steps north 1.750 strides south.
Twice a day. Age 69. 10, 000 by Nov 1. My goal. Exercise sucks but never fails. Resuming jumping rope. Working up your 1, 000 a day minimum. Retired, have the time. Can’t sit around.
