In this project, we will detect vehicle and classify it accordingly like two wheeler, four wheeler, bus, car, truck, etc. and further this project will count the number of vehicle passed through it. we used OpenCV ( a computer vision library) in Python.
This Vehicle Classification and Counting project using OpenCV have several advantages and practical uses in real-time including:-
1. Environmental Monitoring: Vehicle detection and counting can be used to reduce air pollution and traffic monitor by tracking the number of vehicles on the road and how much emission they produce in single day.
2. Traffic Monitoring: This project model can be used as a monitor real-time traffic and it provides accurate data on the number of vehicle passing through particular road.

We will use the python programming language to work with video and video analysis and the OpenCV computer vision library to perform the image processing task.
Steps for Vehicle Detection and Classification using OpenCV:-
1. First user have to import necessary library package and initialize the network.
2. Read frames from video file.
3 In this step; Pre-process the frame and run the detection.
4. Post-process the output data.
5. Track and count all vehicles on that area.

Software Requirements :-
1. Operating System: Win 7 or more
2. Programming Language: Python

Hardware Requirement :-
1. Processor-i3
2. Hard disk-5GB
3. Memory-2GB RAM
