GT World Series 2024 | Round 2 - Prague | Manufacturers Cup | Race Highlights

Round 2 of the Gran Turismo World Series took place in Prague’s historic Hybernia Theatre. Surrounded by the city’s Gothic charm and vibrant culture, the first race of the weekend was the Manufacturers Cup, bringing together the top 12 ranked car companies, including #GTWS official partners Toyota, Genesis, and Mazda. Each manufacturer fielded a team of three drivers, representing each region from the Online Qualifiers. Once again for Prague, the teams were represented by one of the three drivers, with a return to the previous “endurance style” three driver teams at the World Finals later in the year.

Starting under tricky wet conditions, Pole sitter and GT World Series debutant Mohamed Buhdeima (Ferrari) made an effective tire strategy work to narrowly beat fellow rookie Benjamin Hencsei (Porsche). The BMW of Thomas Labouteley took third.
