Though you pour water with room temperature into the sand, the water inside the bottle is also at room temperature before you kept it inside then, how the bottle became so cool after equilibrium of their temperatures?

Nice, it worked very effectively but it takes four hrs to kool can we use any vessel or only steel, bottle that you used glass or plastic .

Without evaporation there can be no significant cooling, so a steel pot must be changed for a traditional earthenware pot. Do it with that, and it will work. But you will need a a very porous pot. The steel pot is useless.

Although there is some logic of water evaporation in temperature can't be cold enough to frizz works great with earthen pots compare with metal containers. There are still limits of type of food you can store in it. Cause it works on water evaporation there will be always humidity in containers and if food not covered properly there is a chance of fungle forming.
