Find the Exact Value of a Trigonometric Function - Grade 12

Find the exact value of tan(13 pi / 12) by first expressing the angle in terms of special angles and then using trigonometric formulas. 13 pi / 12 is expressed as

13 pi / 12 = pi + pi/12 and therefore tan(13 pi / 12 ) = tan( pi / 12)

pi/12 = pi/3 - pi/4

then the formula of the tangent of difference: tan(pi/3 - pi/4) is used
