Hello everyone, and welcome back to Scary Interesting. In this video, we’re going to go over three caves stories that have all of the elements that make cave exploring terrifying. There are tight squeezes and horrific injuries, but they’ll still be different than you expect. You’ll see what I mean. As always, viewer discretion is advised.

As per YouTube's new AI disclosure policy, you may see a box pop up that says "Altered or synthetic content". To give specifics on how it's used on this channel, we use it to generate some scenes where real and stock images are not available, as well as some of the AI tools in various programs to speed workflow. Otherwise, all scripts, voiceovers, video editing, etc. is done by humans.

This video contains light dramatic reenactment but no actual footage or pictures of anyone being harmed or who has been harmed. The thumbnail is NOT a real image.

Death may be inevitable but suffocating to death by being trapped in a cave is certainly avoidable

This just made me realize there are so many other safe hobbies out there, like knife catching, venomous snake handling, and parkour.

Rescue volunteers deserve so so much more credit than they get, especially that second story and just how much danger they put themselves in to rescue someone, true heroes of our day.

11 days in pain, watching hundreds of people working hard as hell to get you out, inventing rescue methods on the fly. And still, after a long recovery period, "back to caving?" My dude, no.

If there’s one thing that I’ve learned from watching this channel, it’s never crawl through a space narrower than your chest holding a full breathe of air

I went caving once, Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. It had a 50 ft tall tunnel, a path with bright lights, and a gift shop inside.

Nothing I could possibly see in a cave is worth being in a cave.

I had to squeeze and crawl into a desk cupboard today to plug in a new computer, it was difficult, dirty and a bit painful, not an experience I want to repeat yet, here we have people doing worse for fun.

Dying in a cave is the most frightening and avoidable death possible, IMO

Well... it's a nice change of pace that everyone lived this time around! Thanks to all the rescuers!

I'm glad Tim go out alive, not very often we have a happy ending with these tales. George was a lucky boy too even if he was serverly injured.

2 rules for caving:
1. Don't go for caving
2. Follow the fckn rule no 1.

I will never understand the desire to wiggle through cave tunnels... even when things go well. I like wide open outdoor spaces.

I was a paramedic for about 10 years and I never went on a cave rescue I was on a mountain rescue turned recovery after a hiker decided to climb up or climb down a 200 foot waterfall about 15 years ago. Took us about 1 1/2 hours to get there where we determined that he was dead. Why he decided to try to climb up or down the waterfall especially after it had rained making everything slippery was beyond me.
If you want to go on dangerous hikes or go on dangerous caving expeditions then you need to realize that if an accident happens you may not be able to get rescued. Paramedics, fire, and other rescue personnel have to work as safely as possible. I know after some caves were closed due to fatalities there were cavers upset that they couldn’t go into the cave or they would try to remove whatever is blocking the entrance but if they got hurt they still called rescue to save them.

My man Johann caused 1 million euros worth of rescue and his first move after recovering is to get back into caves. Some people never learn.

Can we take a moment to give thanks to brave rescue workers all around the world? What a bunch of absolutely bad-ass heroes

Something funny about the first story: Given the date of this event, many people were likely watching a different caving story form this channel at the same time as the people from story 1 were actually in a cave, going through their own disaster. There could be people out there right now, suffering in a cave, that will feature in a future video from this channel. Crazy stuff.

There are thousands upon thousands of hobbies and ways to enjoy life then there are people who enjoy caving and cave diving.
