Washington, DC regional real estate stats February 2024

Median price for the region increased 5% and days on market decreased to 10. Some relief may be in store for next month as new listings increased 7%. Inventory for the region increased for the FIRST time in a year! However, inventory of single-family detached homes decreased 2.5% while condo inventory jumped 20%. The District remains a relative bargain with longer average days on market and more inventory while prices have trended modestly downward year over year.
