I think you should give " as long as the lemon trees grows". It's not your typical young adult story and it has zero 1 star rating on goodreads. You already have the book, just try it. I was amazed by this book when I read it blindly.

Re: abby jimenez 11:00. I hate when I read an authors books backwards (in terms of release date) and then I get so disappointed when I get to their earlier work. I had the same with Lauren Asher, I started reading her books in 2021 with the release of the Fine Print, but now I've just finished book 1 of her Dirty Air series (her debut novel) and I'm like ???? Is this the same author.

As long as the lemon trees grow - might be my top read of the year. Made me feel everyyy emotion, literally felt like I was a part of the story. Doesn’t seem like a young adult book while reading.
