Thanks for the shoutout, and I feel honored that I preserved a piece of lost media as part of Nickelodeon's history.

I don't know how people neglect to mention that the Booth brothers officially re-released Everyone Knows That in July
It's remastered in its entirety on Spotify

crazy how this video came out 3 weeks ago and still managed to age in an unfortunate way now that The Most Mysterious Song On The Internet has been found and the original band has given out their studio EP.

One rather interesting piece of found media is _1985_, a 1970 made-for-television mockumentary produced by Metromedia Group depicting a hypothetical near-future environmental catastrophe brought on by unchecked industrialization. The film was presented as a simulated newscast, with real-life Metromedia newscasters, including a young Maury Povich, playing themselves. Essentially, the purpose of the film was to demonstrate what would happen if then-current environmental trends were to continue into the ensuing decade, as this was back when very few Americans took the issue of environmental protection seriously and the EPA had only just been created.

Despite heavy promotion, the film was only broadcast twice, possibly because audiences found the whole thing too depressing and/or horrifying to sit through. This left the film out of public circulation for years until the University of California, Berkeley obtained a copy at some point and added it to their digital archives. The circumstances of how it fell into obscurity despite being heavily promoted and how UC Berkeley obtained their copy are definitely worthy of investigation by the lost media community. For those interested, I have created a TV Tropes page for the film if you want to learn more about it.

I have a piece of lost media I've been searching for a long time. I don't know where else to post this so here it is. In the spring of 2006 I was watching the Syfy channel with me mum and dad and sisters watching a twilight zone marathon. I believe it was the 80s addition. There was an episode i remember so clearly but still to this day can't find any information on. In the episode, a young, neglected boy is trying to get his parents attention but they're getting ready to go on some dinner date. The next day, the boy and his mum are in the kitchen with the mum talking endlessly about how much fun they had tye night before. The mum sees a drawing the boy drew on the fridge and gets made at him, tearing the picture down and balling it up. On another note, the boy befriends a pregnant woman who says she'd Love to be his mother. At the end of the episode, the woman goes into labor and gives birth to the boy. Then the narrator comes on and ends the episode. I've checked every twilight zone episode available on lists and series. I've watched every episode i could find on YouTube. I've even checked other anthology series like Night Visions, The Outer Limits and others just in case i may have been mistaken as to what series it was on because i was very young at the time. Me parents nor me sisters remember this episode and it wasn't until a couple months ago s friend of mine also remembered the episode and confirmed it was indeed the Twilight Zone but couldn't remember it being aired more than once. This episode has been in the back of me mind for 18 years and I've wanted to know if i dreamed it or was it a real episode of the Twilight Zone. If anyone knows anything about this episode and can tell me something I'd be forever grateful. I'd give anything to know the name of it and see it again. 27:42

21:53 I shouldn't be putting this much thought into Spongebob swearing, but this can't be right.
Patrick states that Spongebob used "Word #11" here, but at the beginning of the episode #11 is used as a noun: "Krab's is a ****."
#11 is also used a verb and an adjective later at the Krusty Krab: "Lovely **** day we're having?" and "Don't forget to **** the sauce."
It might seem like semantics, but this is the reason the actors were swearing in the first place. So, I don't they used random swears that didn't fit.

Some of my personal favorites of 2024 lost media is the original audio of Duke’s death of G.I. Joe The Movie and Hey, Hey, Hey It’s Fat Albert the animated special which was the precursor of the Fat Albert tv show.

I personally think both leaked snippets of SpongeBob swearing are authentic because they lack the distortion that's normally heard with AI voice generation. I personally don't think they were made with AI. It's possible they got out when Nickelodeon was hacked earlier this year and several assets like the SpongeBob theme song stems and Saving Bikini Bottom were leaked online. There was a more recent leak of the upcoming Plankton film, actually.

Now we need to find that lost video where Tony Soprano watches sourcebrew's video. 😮

The Lebron ad confirms that Tony Soprano doesn't die at the end. That's the bigger piece of news here.

Suggestion - Geronimo Stilton interactive eBooks. Did you know that one of the most popular eBooks in the year 2000 was from a very popular yet severely underrated Italian children's book series, Geronimo Stilton.

They were published by CyberRead in 2000 and are the first English translations of the series as well as one of the first eBooks published from Italy.

Less than 45 books are reported to have existed, 1 has been found so far but with it's interactive features destroyed.
