Salt
2 large tomatoes
½ cup green onions
½ cup large sweet yellow onion
1 tsp lemon/lime juice
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp of pepper

I'll never forget when I was a kid and went to Hawaii this was my favorite food it came with almost every dish I had lol I never knew the name I just called it the Hawaiian pico degallo 😂😂😂

Lomi Lomi does not use citrus juice...also cure the salmon for at least 2 days in the refrigerator, should be firm. After you combine the ingredients the salmon will reabsorb the moisture from the tomatoes. I also add crushed ice to to give more juice to put over rice...yum.

I never add sugar n blk pepper I cure my salmon for at least 3-4 days till its almost salmon jerky them I make my lomi salmon

This is NOT lomilomi salmon. This is saviche. We no use citrus in lomilomi.

I wanted for make lomi lomi salmon.. But I no like wait 24 hours for cure the salmon.. so I guess I eating lomi lomi tomato tonight 😂

How did you learn to make lomi salmon because it's not the traditional way to make it. Hawaiians don't add the last 3 ingredients to their lomi salmon.
