These guests and patrol did an amazing job here and should be very proud. I was on a chairlift once as a child and this same situation happened two chairs behind me. It didn’t turn out so well and the kid broke both of his legs and punched a lung. Very sad and I will never forget it.

It took me the whole clip before I realized that the Dad had another child sitting on his lapp. Suddenly it made more sense as to why the Dad didn't manage to pull the young boy up

This is incredible. Brought tears to my eyes; the fast acting teens, the faith of the parent to let his son fall, the faith of the child. So glad the boy is safe!!

Ugh, I could kiss and hug every single one involved with that boy's rescue. I have a 10 yr old boy with low-spectrum autism. The horror that would consume he and I in a situation like this leaves me speechless. God bless all of those who came together and think fast. That dad had to feel so bad for letting him go. He did the right thing and couldn't have done it without the support and love from strangers and ski staff.
