We had this broken gamecube, so when i was 13 and my sister was 7, i taught her how to shoot my bb gun at said GC. She still has it, says shes gonna put it in my coffin

I don't believe there was anything particularly wrong with the Gamecube but the third-party title selection was very limited, compared to the XBOX or the PS2... which meant it was made to be more exclusive to real Nintendo fans

Dude, I actually went to a pawn shop one time and found Paper Mario TTYD. I ask about the price and he acted like he forgot it was there and said $5. Then he said “oh the one over there? It’s $70”. Some kids (that assume were related to the owner) were like 🤯 why is it so high. And the guy told them it was because the disk were small and got lost easily 🤦‍♂️😅.

Every one wanted to trash talk the GameCube back in the day but when people look back today they acknowledge how great of a game library it actually had. Wish I could play Evolution Worlds again 😢

I don't know if I'd highlight the mini-discs as a positive, but they are cute, I guess. I love thr GameCube. I recently bought a boxed Spice Orange system to add to my collection. That's GameCube number 5!

Mini discs killed the gamecube, what do you mean 😭. They're cool but they could only contain a fraction of the data a DVD can hold, causing many big 3rd party games to skip nintendo
