Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - Planet Coaster Re-Creation
Показать описание
Here is another re-creation of one of my favourite rollercoasters from Universal Orlando: - Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit!
Rip Ride Rocket is a modern, non-inverted steel coaster that allows the rider to customise what songs and soundtracks they want to listen to from a broad range of genres (as well as countless secret 'bonus' tracks) whilst being filmed as they ride along, creating a personal - and often hilarious - experience of the ride.
Now for me to re-create this in Planet Coaster, there were numerous compromises...
For a start, the coaster type I've chosen for this is the launched coaster. The reason for this is because of the similarities of the coaster train compared to the ones used on R.R.R.
Secondly, the launch abilities allow the ride to continue to be 'fast'. R.R.R. is a fast coaster in real life, despite having four mid-run brake sections. In P.C. the friction physics is a bit... off... so by the latter half of the track, the trains were crawling. Therefore there are a few launch moments where the 'brakes' should be... but I've kept the speed to realistic comparisons.
Thirdly, the theming and buildings aren't exactly perfect. This is mainly due to game limitations with the scenery. Again goes for the music, but you could fill that gap with the importing of 'custom music'.
Despite all that, I have tried to keep it as close to the original as possible!
