In this video, watch as I give you 5 secret tips/tricks to make your GoPro footage look as cinematic as possible! The first question people ask about their GoPro cameras is "how do I get my footage to look cinematic?". It can be a little tricky to accomplish this goal, but if you know the right filming tips you can capture some really cinematic video!

We've all seen those GoPro highlight reel videos, or people just making professional content with GoPro's, and we think to our selves "there's no way this was captured on a GoPro. Why can't I get my footage to look like that?". The answer isn't straightforward, but it all comes down to knowing the right settings, filming tricks, and editing hacks. These tricks go for The GoPro Hero 11, Hero 10, Hero 9, and so on!

The main goal we all have when we press record it to capture the most cinematic and best-looking footage possible, and this video helps you accomplish that! I've been using GoPro's for 6 years now, and these are the 5 best tricks I've learned over that time. Make sure to let me know in the comments which settings work the best for you! Nice video helpful . I always film in 1080 /60 for underwater . Recently got a filter only because I normally use dive lights. So now I have set it up to 4k /30 sharpness up. Should make my footage sharper . I have a GoPro 8 might need to upgrade to the GoPro 12 when that comes out 👍💸

Awesome. Thanks for all the tips. I always thought it was bad to shoot toward or into the Sun because of all the glare. Even indoors, with glare from windows. Guess it has to do with the other settings you mentioned.
Take care.

I’d say that 10bit makes a world of difference. Like a ton. 10bit gives you much more room in the edit.

Always wanted a gopro, but been stuck with some less expensive cameras. Akaso brave is okay, but I would love to use the hero 11

I’m still happy with all my gopros. I have trouble filming in low light tho. Setting suggestions?
