How I Find Made In USA Stuff on Amazon (+ Free Tool)

Here is my exact process for finding made in the USA products on Amazon. Plus, I demo a free tool I've been using to help highlight American made stuff on Amazon and block other goods from China. Amazon isn't the most friendly retailer for American manufacturers, but if you prefer or need to shop there for some reason, use these tips to find great brands made in the USA.

Thank you for the video! I avoid Amazon at all costs but have bought from them few times when no other option. But you are right, better to buy American made through Amazon than imported elsewhere.

Thanks for the video, seems like Amazon sellers are definitely catching on to us looking for American products, I'm getting that app. Unfortunately some things just aren't made here anymore, been looking for a new nose hair trimmer for months, normally at that level of desperation I'd say f it and buy Chinese but since "the balloons" I'm choosing to go without rather than buy Chinese as much as possible.

Sometimes if I'm checking a product on Amazon I scroll downto where it Says customer questions and I will punch in Where is it made? and a lot of times People will let you know where it's made if you can't find the information

There are also some small brands which are Made in USA that only sell on Amazon, or at least I'm pretty sure there are some and I've purchased their product or discovered them that way. Some other times, I'll get things directly from their website if I find them on Amazon first.

Amazon has the worst search results. No matter how specific you are, you will be shown sponsored results first. What's worse is that they comingle many of the products, meaning that you don't really know who is supplying the item that you're buying. I purchased Gillette razor refill cartridge's from the Gillette store but the ones that I received were clearly counterfeit and tore up my face on the first use. After doing some research I found that counterfeit products is actually a huge problem on Amazon, from spark plugs to SD cards, be careful what you purchase.

A yr ago I started checking nearly everything I would order. And most of them would have country of origin listed. Then recently they all stopped listing it. For the last 2-3mo not a single item I've checked has a C of O listed, unless it's Usa or Europe. If it's made in China, you won't see origin listed anymore. I've had to look up the specific item on Google & dig around websites to find it. Amazon has a special "made in Italy" section, but finding US made things is a scavenger hunt event.

Am I the only one who is particularly offended by just how sleazy the Chinese are in their business practices? This is a country that just doesn't give a sh*t how many lines they cross as long as they get your $! I will knowingly buy from any other country but them. I miss the days when our biggest complaint was that all our stuff came from Japan and Taiwan.
