PLEASE don't leave your PS5 on rest mode. If you have a power outage or someone unplugs while it is in rest mode, it will corrupt the PS5. You will lose all downloads. But most importantly, if you don't have PS Plus, your saves will be gone FOREVER.

Don't leave it in rest mode. I learned this twice. The hard way 😅

Had mine for a year already 💪 from a long time Xbox guy i finally made the switch and have been enjoying the experience!

If you have a large external hard drive, be careful with rest mode. If the external powers down during rest mode, it could corrupt your library on it. So far my drive has always worked after the repair process but it gets annoying having to wait for the repair to complete on every wakeup. If your external drive does not power down while in standby, you should be ok using rest mode.
