Simple Fade Haircut Tutorial for Beginners│30min Haircut

In this video I show you guys EXACTLY how I do this simple fade haircut tutorial on straight Asian hair - Enjoy!

In this comb over haircut I start off by cutting the top of the hair as it is already wet. I shampoo the client before every haircut and it is just more efficient to cut the top of the hair first while it is still wet before blow drying it dry. I start of by taking about a quarter or half inch section starting from the upper top of the crown area and cut my initial desired length. From there I take half of my original section and another quarter inch of new section from the front and cut again. Doing this all the way to the front of the head.

For the sides I started off by debulking the with the #2 guard open and then creating my base level with the #1 guard closed. From there I faded downwards back to the #1 guard.

Fade System used on sides:
#2 guard open to debulk
#1 Guard (base)
#2 guard closed working under the 2 open
#1.5 guard open then closed
#1 open

Fade System used for Taper:
.5 Guard closed
No guard
.5 guard open blending into the #1 guard initially used.
