My oma had a box like that! It was a message board back in the day. You keep paper and pencil so visitors that miss you at home can leave a cell phones.

Hi Danielle, when I saw you pick up the pheasant I knew it was part of a s&p set. My mom had a set, she was a big collector and had several hundred sets of s&p when she passed in 2002. She had a book that she kept track of every set, she would number each set, then in her book she put a description, who or where it came from and the date she got it, I thought I had the book but if I do it’s packed somewhere. Anyways I know they were one of her oldest sets.

Loved the donkey bank, the tall wooden candle stick, the wooden salt and pepper shakers, the beautiful blue and white LG pitcher, the silver tray and old books would all gave come home with me!

That one plant box that was soft blue was pretty !

I loved the wood salt and pepper shakers, the music book, and the needlepoint pieces but would not have paid that price for the needlepoint. The mirror was a great purchase.

The box near the beginning looked like a writing slope. You put your writing paper and envelopes inside and write on top. It’s a portable desk. Genuine antique ones are much finer.

I would have definitely got that blue pitcher with the flowers, so beautiful, but the wood mirror you got was so nice as well. Prices in Texas are cheaper than the North East USA.🥀🌸🕊
