Sasuke was on the right path up until this moment, he was starting to form a connection with Naruto ans his group and could've gone on to live a normal life but Itachi's mental torture set him on the path of hatred

As much as i love itachi, he went overboard here. Sasuke was already suffering and putting him in tsukuyomi to traumatize him more to the point he went into a coma was way too much. Sasuke was never the same after waking up. Itachi killed every little goodwill in Sasuke's heart after finally creating bonds with team 7. I understand itachi loved his brother but this was way too much. Even as an adult with his own family, Sasuke is still traumatized and people just turn a blind eye on his suffering and praise itachi. Both suffered but Sasuke's pain was on a whole other level

The fact that after this beating, Itachi put sasuke under a genjutsu forcing him to watch his parents get slaughtered for many times is just beyond evil ! Screw** itachi and his stupid excuse of "dOiNg that fOr sasuke's sAkE", it doesn't justify his abuse and torture of sasuke
