Hey, D Amazing! It's worth noting you can actually pull up on the middle waist joint (it clips into the pelvis shell) to give it more range forwards/backwards/sideways, trading off for some gaps. It also gives you a liiiittle more outward range on the hips. Just thought it'd be a good addon!

I was also pleasantly surprised with the articulation and size of this figure. Being that Dread Samus is my first figma I was expecting it to be small.

I hope we get a Dark Samus, Raven Beak and Ridley. Metroid is so rich with great character designs, I would even get all the Hunters, some Space Pirates and a bunch of creatures if they ever make them.

Haha you had the same reaction I did discovering the knee swivel. It does so much for her posing options. I have all three Figma Samus figures as well and this version knocks it out of the park. I wish it had a couple more left hand options and a beam effect, but the accessories it has are pretty great.

The extra Arm Cannon is something specific to Metroid Dread in the context of the upcoming robot from the game.
I should get my sample in the next week. I cannot wait. :-)

For $125, she should have included either more hands or some effects like a missile or beam. That nitpick aside, she is as sollid as the previous one. Now if we could only get some damn Space Pirates.

My Samus figure is in my BBTS Pile of Loot (waiting for a few more items to come in). Will go well with my other Samus figures - but wish they would do a few more classic Samus figures with this updated articulation - my Other M Samus legs pop off if I look at them wrong.

Id love for them to do one of the OP armor at the end of the game. Its crazy man. Samus got nuts on some Doomslayer energy.

@Damazing the torso is an upwards slip joint. You can pull the torso up and it allows the legs to do full split and adds to ab crunch

yo for some more smash bros characters to get, i highly recommend getting the Jazwares Mewtwo. Perfectly 1/12 scale and great articulation for a Smash bros display

This is a really nice one, but I’ll need to avoid it with hopes that they use the same engineering in OG colors. The last samus figma is an amazing figure in its own right, but I wouldn’t hate it getting these upgrades.
