That's stainless steel ring can be knocked off where the screwdriver and a hammer and if the mixer ever needs a repair you'll have to take that off anyways.

I wonder … maybe sometime you can teach us how to make a sour dough starter.

Question: can sour dough be made in a bread machine or does it have to be handmade? I know, I know, I know … it’s cheating but the bread’s just as tasty, as when it’s handmade! 😂
